Uzma Shamim
Uzma finished high school in Pakistan and moved to Houston in 2001. She got her associates degree from San Jacinto College. She was selected for “Who is who among junior American College“ award for 2 consecutive years. She was President of International Student Association and also worked as Assistant Student Affairs while providing free peer tutoring. Uzma finished Bachelors of Science from TSU while working as a Pharm Tech at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has a passion for patient care and has over 15 years of healthcare experience. She also provides freelance guidance counseling to HS/College students. She is CPR Certified. In her free time, she likes to volunteer at different community activities.
